In alignment with the theory of Post Porn Practice, sex work is art creation and performative gender expression. The capturing of sex work artists from different fields of work is an interactive performance of translating one work of art (the sex worker's performance) into another (the drawing). The drawings were created live during interviews via zoom in 2020, using technology as a tool to not only establish a virtual stage for performance and sex work artists, but also uphold supportive networks for queer communities, deeply affected financially and emotionally by the pandemic.
