Group exhibition at Room Boom Festival, Schkeuditz 2021
On the walls from the staircase taking the
viewers to the 3rd floor, suddenly one is
engulfed by a vivid and explosive jungle
made out of domesticated exotic plants. The
outlandish looking vines are entangled with
body parts of a curious kind: a pair of floating
boobs, reminiscent of drag queens, a strap–on
here, a foot protruding out from a pelvis.
The wall is a flamboyant sonnet to playful
gender deconstruction, immersing the viewer
in a forest of dildos, feet, bananas, sexy
cactuses and a plethora of leaves, caressing
each floating body part, creating a tapestry of
joy.
